Controls/Commanding units

You will need to give orders to your units if you want to get anywhere, and there are a few ways of doing this.

Left click on a empty piece of land and hold the mouse button, to be able to select a group of units by moving the mouse. A white rectangle will show your selected area. Letting go of the left mouse button will finish the select procedure.

Select menu. On the upper part of your game menu, is your unit select menu. A grid is made of types of units going across with their current activity going down. Match the unit you want with the current job you want and click in the box to select a unit which matches that. e.g. If you want a Miner which is not doing anything, match the miner row with the idle column (represented with a 'Z' icon).

1-9 keys select 1-9 units nearest to the mouse pointer. If you are holding 'D', only units assigned to defense will be selected. 'A' key will select attack force only, and 'B' for inactive builders. The zero key can be used to select all.
